Jumbo Hits???

I always feel so good driving home after work on Friday!  The work week is over and I have a couple days to do whatever I want.  It is this good feeling that comes over me that makes me stop in at my local dealers and feed my fix.

This week I decided to go with one JUMBO 2010 Series 1 pack.  Hoping beyond hope to beat the odds: 1:19 and pull a Black short print.....  Well I did beat those odds, but here is what I did pull:

PP-21 Jimmie Foxx
TR39 Vladimir Guerrero
CMT-54  Ryan Howard / Cole Hammels
HOTG22 Ryan throws 7th no hitter
#163 Gold Josh Butler
TOG-20  The Jeter Flip
LL25  Tom Seaver and Roy Halladay

I also pulled a few more RCs, base, a toppstown, and a Million Card Giveaway.  Here is what I got when I redeemed the Million Card Giveaway:

So after 4 redemptions I have 3 cards from the 70's and one from 2007.  Not too bad, still not enough to pay to have them shipped to me, but not bad.

Back in Black!!!

2010 Black Franchise History 58/59

I picked up this sweet Rays card from ebay this week.  I love these black bordered beauties.  Still need a Crawford, Burrell, and Price!

Love the BIG AIR Aki is getting in this shot, I will miss watching him play for the Rays this season.  Pirates fans should be very happy they acquired this guy, he is as steady as they come and a really exciting player to watch.  I am sure he will become a fan favorite in Pittsburgh.

Rays Pitchers Look Real Good in BLACK!

I have been putting in some work on Ebay the last week or so trying to win some of these elusive creatures. Prices on these Black Parallels are all over the board on my favorite auction site. So I try and try and bid and bid in hopes that someday I will get that special email notification that says you have won this item. Well last week I received that good news twice. Here are the two items I finally won:

JAMES SHIELDS 16/59

WADE DAVIS 37/59

If the Rays have any chance of being in the Playoffs this year, both of these guys need to have good to great seasons.  Now if I could just score a Crawford, Zobrist and the rest of the crew!
